Red Letter Day

The stop motion animation was made in response to an annual celebration of historical British events. The film was made to depict the contrast in the old and new town districts in Edinburgh. The models were made from paper, with hand drawn graphics. The dark grey overtone of the scenes reflects the old, dense and rather claustrophobic feel of the old town district. The film contained over 60 individual paper models.
